Our Program

Tanaina is licensed by the Municipality of Anchorage Child Care Licensing Department. Tanaina offers 3. 4 and 5-day programs. Rates are dependent on the number of days enrolled.  Tanaina operates Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Child Care Assistance through multiple programs is accepted. We offer breakfast and afternoon snacks at scheduled times of the day.  Tanaina is able to accommodate substitutions or alternatives for food allergies if needed in most situations dependent on the specifics.

Volunteerism

Each family is encouraged to volunteer their time for the benefit of Tanaina. There are various ways to volunteer your time in and outside the classroom. Tanaina is a non-profit run by a volunteer Board of Directors if you are interested in joining the board or a committee please reach out to Tanaina Admin for more information.
